Delete account and data

This page explains how to delete your Patch Watcher account (XB Technologies — Claudinei de Lima) and all data linked to it.

In the app (immediately)

Open Patch Watcher.
Tap the menu (☰) in the top left corner.
Tap Delete account and confirm.

Without the app installed

Send an email to xbtechnologies.app@gmail.com with the subject "Delete Patch Watcher account", from the email of the Google account used in the app. We delete the account and confirm within 15 days.

If you used the app without signing in (anonymous account), there is no way to identify the account: it and its data are deleted automatically after 30 days without use, once no device is registered for notifications.

What is deleted

The sign-in account (identifier, Google name, email and photo).
Device notification tokens.
Followed games, notification preferences and app language.
Linked SteamID and the stored Steam library.

What remains

The public version history of the games, which isn't linked to any account. Server technical records (logs) that mention the account identifier expire within 30 days.
